North Carolina Partnership Supports Stronger Teaching for English Learners

This document describes North Carolina Department of Public Instruction’s partnership with the Southeast Comprehensive Center to provide more support for educators teaching English learners. The partnership featured the use of a select group of teachers to train other educators within their region. The project also resulted in the development of an assessment tool to help document the teacher-trainers’ presentation skills and subject knowledge.
