Texas Formative Assessment Resources (TFAR)

The Texas Education Agency created The Texas Formative Assessment Resource (TFAR), a free resource enabling district and school staff to develop and administer assessment tools. The Region 14 Comprehensive Center leveraged our partnership with WestEd to collaborate with the TEA to design and conduct research to gain insights on district- and school-level TFAR users with the goal of better understanding how TFAR practices are implemented and how implementation differs across districts so that innovative changes can be made to increase the impact of this resource.
