This brief summarizes an online survey of state education agency (SEA) personnel who attended a conference on evidence-based practices and resources on early childhood education. The participants report their experiences in sessions covering ongoing early childhood efforts in different states, strategies for improving early childhood supports for Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) implementation planning, and the pre-K to grade 3 literacy continuum.
