The Region 3 Comprehensive Center’s Education Grant Assistance Series is now available on the CC Network’s website (also available using this link: https://www.slslearningoptions.com/R3CCportal/). While specifically designed to assist the writers of the federal Consolidated Grant Application (CGA), it is more widely applicable across education grant projects of any kind. This series of online interactive e-learning modules are available on-demand to provide technical assistance for the stewards of education grant projects at any time (24/7) on almost any device (e.g., mobile phones, tablets, and laptops/desktops). The three modules are:
1. Module 1: Plan – Conducting a Comprehensive Needs Assessment;
2. Module 2: Do – Project Implementation; and
3. Module 3: Study & Act – Monitoring and Evaluating Education Grant Projects.
Module content touches on a wide range of topics, such as the Plan-Do-Study-Act Improvement Cycle, conducting needs assessments, choosing evidence-based practices, communicating with stakeholders, developing a theory of action and outcome statements, and strategies for creating a project evaluation.
