Native Education Collaborative Logo

This event is for Comprehensive Center staff and ED only.

The National Comprehensive Center will be hosting a webinar on Tuesday, March 30th from 3-4 ET about the National Comprehensive Center’s Native Education Collaborative’s Circles of Reflection.  The Native Education Collaborative developed this facilitated discussion process as a way for SEAs to engage LEAs and tribes in discussions about the State’s support for educating American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) students.

Circles of Reflection is a framework for facilitating meaningful conversations about equity, the opportunities that exist for Native education, and how an SEA can advance teaching and learning for AI/AN students in ways that put culturally responsive ideas into practice towards improving student outcomes.

During this webinar, the Native Education Collaborative will provide an overview of the Circles of Reflection process and describe the benefits and lessons learned from completing the process with four pilot states and their Regional Comprehensive Centers.
