Convened by the National Center and Edunomics Lab, the Financial Decision-making Working Group (FiDWiG) is a collaboration between SEAs and RCCs on how to leverage financial transparency for decision making. Monthly meetings will feature timely financial news and updates, actions states can take to use their finance data for school improvement, and opportunities for cross-state discussions and troubleshooting.
In our March meeting, we will break down the new stimulus package and education relief funds, present pandemic-era K-12 labor market trends, and discuss what those relief dollars and labor trends mean for financial decision-making.
The meeting will be held at 1pm ET on 3/25. Please contact Hannah at HJ254@georgetown.edu with any questions.
